Subaru Helps Haiti
February 12, 2010 by SUBARULOVERS, under Dealership News, Uncategorized.
Everyone at Subaru is deeply saddened by the tragedy in Haiti. It has been 1 month since the devastating earthquake hit, leaving survivors in desperate need of food, clean water, supplies, medical care and scores of volunteers to help out. Quick to head the relief effort, The American Red Cross has made it possible for all Americans to assist in the healing process.
“The needs are great, but the generous support of the American people is making a difference everyday.”
-Gail McGovern, Red Cross President and CEO
Subaru of America, Inc. has made a $50,000 donation to the American Red Cross for their aid initiative in Haiti. In addition, Subaru of America employee contributions to the Haiti disaster will be matched through the Subaru of America Foundation on a two-to-one basis. Thank you to the many Subaru drivers who continue to care and contribute in their own ways.
