2010 Subaru Forester XT “Just Right” for just about everybody
July 1, 2010 by SUBARULOVERS, under Featured Vehicles, Uncategorized.

The newly redesigned 3rd-generation 2010 Forester boasts five-star crash test ratings, and is the best-selling version ever, proving it to be “just right” for just about everybody.
The stylish exterior and perfect sizing are what the people love, not to mention the across-the-board Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Subaru’s signature. The Forester is available with surprisingly affordable extras and premium options, starting with the 2.5XT, packing a 224-hp turbocharged BOXER four-cylinder engine, and Subaru’s Ring-Shaped Reinforcement Frame body structure, earning Top Safety Pick status from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Front seat-mounted side airbags, side-curtain airbags, and active head restraints also contribute to passenger protection as standard equipment. Auto Lease Guide has given the 2010 Forester its Best Compact Utility Vehicle award, and accolades for the Forester’s blend of fun, safety and exceptionally smooth ride quality are all over the place.
$26,495 buys entry to the Turbo Subie club with the Forester 2.5XT Premium, and features a three-spoke steering wheel with audio and cruise controls mounted below a panoramic moonroof that lends an even airier feel to the Forester’s already glassy cockpit. Hinting at the fleet-footedness imparted by the pressurized breathing apparatus, a spoiler tops the rear hatch. Seventeen-inch alloy wheels handsomely accent the exterior on 2.5XTs, as well.
The most luxurious Forester is the Limited, which dresses up the small SUV with a leather-trimmed interior, heated front seats and automatic climate control. All the goodies from the 2.5XT Premium are there, too, like the panoramic moonroof. When you roll down the block in your handsome 2010 Forester 2.5XT Limited, you’ll enjoy the undertone of rally skill that’s an indelible part of the brand’s history, while your neighbors will look on in admiration, thinking you spent a lot more than the reasonable $28,495 MSRP.
Foresters come pre-wired for remote start systems when equipped with automatic transmissions. The automatic also features SPORTSHIFT control standard on 2.5XT models, which enables manual shifting and keeps the Forester’s sporty roots close at hand. A nod to the storied Subaru prowess in inclement weather, an All-Weather Package (standard on XT Limited) adds heated front seats and side mirrors. And, while your Forester 2.5XT keeps you comfortable and warm, a six-speaker audio system keeps the entertainment flowing.
Is it any wonder this unassuming superstar of a small SUV is a favorite among consumers? Are you ready to get in on the action? Come into Subaru Superstore of Chandler and experience the newly re-designed 2010 Forester XT for yourself, and find out what extra stuff you can’t live without!
