Although it wouldn’t be true to say I’ve been on the “Subaru Diet,” it IS true that I’ve lost a lot of weight since I got my Subaru Forester. (Triple digits.) The same motivation that got the ball rolling for my weight loss journey was behind my decision to purchase a Subaru Forester last fall.For the possibility of adventure and a healthier lifestyle. It may sound corny, but I wanted a car that would inspire me, a car that I could live up to. I got one!

I am a musician and sell my Celtic music at craft fairs. My wife and I were very surprised when we could load all the supplies for a craft fair including a Hammered Dulcimer, Cittern, large craft tent, boxes of CDs, table and chairs and 200 lbs of tent weights into our 2009 Forester. Our dog, Jasper, fits in too.

What was suppose to be a relaxing 2 hour canoe trip turned into more of an epic 2 day journey, when one rock jumped out of nowhere and sent us swimming. Our trusty grumman canoe didn’t fair as well as us, but perhaps one day it will live to float again.

Show Us Your Love Submission- Camping in Mingus Mountain, Arizona

Well, it all started out as myself and my fiance wanting to find more places to go hike and camp in the desert lands of Arizona. I was looking for places and found the name of Mingus Mountain that is outside of Prescott, Arizona. We decided that we would try it out! We only were able to read the information and weren’t sure if this would be worth it but thought “What the heck?”
